What vehicle do you own?: Tucson
Location: merseyside
Hi all new to your site i have a 2004 petrol tucson just put it in for mot come back with needs front brakes an discs ,just wonderin how easy it is to remove an new the parts also are the calipers the type were i need a tool to press them in or can i do it with a bar thanks all for help

Hi mike and welcome to this forum.
Here's a sample on how to remove it.

btw, you can push the caliper back using a "C-clamp" as what Tucson did in the DIY or you can use a bar or screw driver to push it back and you will need a considerable amount of strength to push it back unlike using the c-clamp which is very easy.

Hi Mike I will not mention lfc as tonight they are playing my team- Welcome to the forums pal most things on the Tucson are straight forward to do if you have a little time and patience.
Let us know how you got on with the job .

By the way you can source better discs and pads than the oem ones and they will cost you no more.
