Hi there, sorry I tried DYI seach but could not find anything for it....I have a smaller CD stuck in the CD player, it won't eject it...I have tried to remove the CD but can't get to it...I am left needing to remove the deck and go from there...My question is how do I remove or begin to remove my factory radio/CD player from the dash...
It's a basic 07manual 4x2 tucson.....thanks
Frank

"smaller cd" ?
Do you see any small holes in front of the head unit wherein you will push it to manually eject the disc? The small hole is
like a dot. You will have to push it using a safety pin or paper clip.

..if this doesn't work see attachment...

Very well said. Or bring it to a shop and let them do it for you. Did it on my own. Was left with 4 extra screws and a few lights not responding.

That's ok, you'll get the hang of it after a few DIY's and if you make it one of your hobbies. Experts and professionals didn't get it the first time. But if you got plenty of dough and don't want to mess anything be kind enough to give electricians/mechanics a few of your dough so they too can earn a living and you can make everybody happy.

The manual shows how to remove the other parts which goes in the way of the radio. This is applicable on manual transmission or automatic transmission. There is no manual though on how to open the radio and remove the disc but I'm sure you can figure that out and be careful.

You could try a pair of long nose tweezers and try to pick the small disc from the player without removing- Well at least we all know now you cant put the little blighters in the cd on our tucsons- Thanks

Cheers

Ted

Please advertise your radio in the For Sale and Want ads please and can you also add where you live into your profile as this will make sense if anyone wanted to take up the offer and we do like to know in which country , area etc where the forum members live as this may alter information or advice as its dependant on vehicle type, engine etc.

Thanks

Itza fl. fl. fl.

PS Nice to see someone chatting after being a member for a while. :)
